This game actually could be good, considering the new features that will be in the game. The main reason for me is for the story creator.

I haven't been a fan of the WWE games since 2007 came out. The newer controls have improved but I don't really like them all that much. I will say that 2009 was enjoyable though.

Once I rent 2010, if I like it enough, I may buy it. Even though I would spend 99% of my time using the create modes in the game, it would be worth it.

I'm a bit sceptical about this one after the disappointment I felt at the 2009 edition, the CAW improvements are a big temptation for me to see if this game redeems the franchise for me

It looks like to me the CAW elements will be at least a little better this year.

A somewhat of a big thing for me as well is the little bit more added features of the Create A Finisher mode. I believe they have added top rope stuff too. That will at least make me mess around with it some more.

Soon, WWE will just make a Create Your Own Experience game, from which millions of efeds can use every aspect to create the full efed experience.

I hate the controls on the last 2 games. Call me an old man but, I hate using the right stick for grapples. It feels so unnatural to me.

I quite like the right stick controls. It took a little bit to get used to but I prefer it really.

I haven't bought a SmackDown game since the original SvR in 05 I think? But I might get this, it looks decent, but in my opinion the SvR games have changed little over time besides graphics. There's nothing amazing in it that draws my attention anyways.

I'm the same way with the controls. I'm more used to it now but I never really liked using the stick for grapples.

Same. I love that we can upload and download everthing like CAWs now. So everyone who has this game can upload themselves and make up their own fantasy EW storylines or something.

When I was helping out with Premier WC, I was going to create everyone on the roster on the Fire Pro Wrestling returns game. I only created my character and one other. Didn't have enough time. I might do something like this for EW. It's a bit more simplistic and it would be cool to make random storylines and whatnot to compare each others' ideas.

Any word on whether or not the targeting system will be fixed? in '07 and '08, it was abysmal. I never played '09, but I heard it wasn't much better.

09 it was great, basically you just flicked the stick towards someone and it targeted them.
